Growing up in Boston's North End, everyone knew someone
who made great pasta; however, Maria was different. Using
homemade Italian recipes handed down for generations, she
started testing slight variations with the ingredients, and
combining unique fillings together in what culminated in the
finest ravioli, tortellini and tortelloni in town. Everyone
wanted to be at our house for dinner.
While going to school, I worked for a pasta company making
deliveries to all the local restaurants. By then, I had a
passion for pasta and was eager to get into the kitchen, making
fresh pasta every morning. My desire for unique flavors and
fresher ingredients led me to start-up my own company. I borrowed
Mom's recipes and opened Maria's Gourmet Pasta
Products. Made in small batches, we continue
to provide classic Italian pasta with unique, contemporary
flavors. Everything from our preparation and packaging to
the cooked presentation is a wonderful harmony of texture,
visual appeal and flavor.

At Maria's Gourmet Pasta Products,
we make over 130 different pasta products, and every one has
the same two ingredients: Quality, and Consistency.
It does you no good to get a seafood ravioli from us today
that is "superbo", only to have it be "mezza mezza" the next
time. Our reputation is built upon small batch production
that allows us to monitor and ensure perfection in every product
we make, every time we make it. That's our guarantee to you.

We need to be there when you need us, with the flexibility
to provide the flavors, shapes, and looks you need, when you
need it. When you ask for 100 pounds of fresh Asparagus wrapped
in a black pepper pasta ravioli for Tuesday, the ingredients
are purchased on Monday, made Tuesday morning and shipped
Tuesday afternoon. Because fresh is only fresh today.
